IJC Worldwide Reports & Certification

IJC Worldwide offers authoritative gemstone and jewelry grading reports that inspire confidence. Each IJC report identifies a stone’s origin (natural or lab-grown) and documents its quality attributes (the “4Cs” for diamonds, and species/variety for colored gems). Our reports are prepared by experienced gemologists using strict international standards, ensuring consistency and trust. Just as leading gem labs note, an authentic grading certificate is “the common language of trust and confidence” in the gem trade, and IJC’s reports serve as that reliable credential for buyers and sellers worldwide.

Jewelry Reports

IJC’s Jewelry Reports certify finished pieces containing diamonds, gemstones and precious metals. Each report itemizes every mounted gem and metal in the piece. For example, a ring report will identify the center diamond (with full 4Cs grading) and any side stones or accent gems, as well as the metal type and purity. We include detailed photos of the finished item and note any inscriptions or quality stamps. Our jewelry reports follow best practices: “issued for pieces featuring natural and lab grown diamonds and gemstones,” providing “all gemstone and mounting specifics”

Engagement Ring Report :

Complete grading of the center diamond plus description of all accent stones and ring metal.

Pendant/Necklace Report :

Certification of each gemstone in the necklace and documentation of the chain/metal components.

Custom Jewelry Report :

For heirloom or designer pieces, detailing each element without disassembly, using conservative “graded as mounted” ranges when necessary.

Diamond Reports

Natural Diamond Report :

Each report provides a precise assessment of a diamond’s cut, color, clarity and carat weight, following strict global grading standards. We also determine whether the diamond is natural or treated.

Lab-Grown Diamond Report :

This report applies the same rigorous analysis to synthetic diamonds, confirming their laboratory origin and detailing all quality factors (4Cs) just as for mined stones.

Fancy Color Diamond Report :

Our certificates for colored diamonds describe the stone’s hue, tone and saturation. We place the diamond within the full color spectrum and note its intensity and lightness, mirroring the detailed color evaluation used by leading laboratories.

Hearts & Arrows Report :

For round diamonds cut to “super-ideal” symmetry, we provide a specialized report. This certificate documents the precision cut pattern (the overlapping heart and arrow facet reflections) and confirms the diamond meets Hearts & Arrows cutting standards.

Colored Gemstone Reports

IJC’s Colored Gemstone Reports apply the same rigor to all precious stones (rubies, sapphires, emeralds, etc.). Each report identifies the gemstone’s species and variety and describes its color, clarity and carat weight. We include high-resolution photographs and, when determinable, state the country of origin. Treatments (such as heating or fracture-filling) are noted in full. For example, our Ruby Report will clearly distinguish natural ruby from spinel or synthetic material, detailing hue and clarity as per industry standards.

Ruby/Sapphire Report:

Grade and characterize each corundum gem, noting any treatments and origin if confirmed.

Emerald/Other Report:

Describe emerald clarity (common inclusions) or identify other colored stones (topaz, tourmaline, etc.) with full gemological analysis.

Birthstone Certification:

Specialty reports for popular gemstones (amber, pearl, etc.), ensuring correct identification and quality grading.
